Flight Controller Guide
You will find an Flight Controller or Autopilot inside all unmanned vehicles, it is a system used to assist the user or fully control the vehicle. It can simply assist in the stabilisation of a racing drone and provide a week levelling during user control or it can fully control a vehicles flight path from take-off, flying a mission, avoiding obstacles then returning to land.

The flight controller is a piece of Hardware such as our favourite ‘The Cube’ aka Pixhawk 2.1
The Flight Controller ‘Hardware’ runs a firmware ‘software’ such as Ardupilot, the Ardupilot family includes Arducopter for multirotor and traditional helicopters, Arduplane for Fixed wings and VTOLs, there is also Ardurover for ground vehicles and boats as well as Ardusub
A Telemetry Radio allows real time viewing of vehicle data on your Ground Station, the Ground Station might be a laptop running Mission Planner.
Telemetry Radios offer two way communication to the vehicle so essential information can be viewed on screen as well as changing settings and uploading missions.
